AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5, CHAPTER 50
OF THE LOMBARD VILLAGE CODE IN REGARD
TO WATER AND SEWER RATES

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lombard, DuPage County, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1: That Title 5, Chapter 50, Section 50.106(B) of the Lombard Village Code is amended to read in its entirety as follows:

"50.106 WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT CHARGE. (b) There is hereby established a wastewater collection and treatment charge of $2.66 per 1,000 gallons of water metered to or sewage measured from, each user during the billing period."

SECTION 2: That Title 5, Chapter 50, Section 50.107 of the Lombard Village Code is amended to read as follows:

"50.107 MINIMUM CHARGE FOR SEWER SERVICE. The minimum charge for 1,000 gallons of usage in one billing period shall be $2.66."

SECTION 3: That Title 5, Chapter 50, Section 50.114 of the Lombard Village Code is amended to read as follows:

"50.114 WATER RATES. There are established rates or charges for the use of services of the waterworks system of the Village as follows:

Water Rates Within the Village Limits:
Minimum Charge 1,000 gallons - $3.49

Water Rates Within the Village Limits:
Consumption Rate Over 1,000 gallons - $3.49 per 1,000 gallons

Water Rates Outside the Village Limits:
Minimum Charge 1,000 gallons - $6.98

Water Rates Outside the Village Limits:
Consumption Rate Over 1,000 gallons - $6.98 per 1,000 gallons."

SECTION 4: That Title 5, Chapter 50 of the Lombard Village Code is amended by amending Section 50.110A to read in its entirety as follows:

50.110 NON-VILLAGE METERED SEWER CHARGES.
(A) For users who have no meters at all, or which meters are unable or incapable of being read, charges are hereby established as follows:




Class
Residential $1.05 per day
Commerical $5.77 per day
