| Chairperson Soderstrom called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and introduced new |
| member, Nancy Sherretz. |

| It was moved by Schwarz, seconded by Gron, to approve the minutes of the |
| February 7, 2005, minutes. The motion carried by a voice vote |
| An Ordinance restricting commercial vehicles in municipal parking lots. (DISTRICT |
| ALL) |
| Hulseberg reviewed the item and made one correction to the ordinance; it would not |
| cover specific hours, it would be in effect at all times. He went on to explain that when |
| Hammerschmidt Lot was constructed, a school bus started parking overnight. The |
| Village did not have a code to prevent it. There was also an issue with District 87 |
| parking a bus in the North Park Parking Lot. However, the Village talked to District 87 |
| and they don't have a problem parking elsewhere. Lt. Glennon asked if this would |
| include the Village Hall Fan lot. Hulseberg responded that it would not. Chairperson |
| Soderstrom pointed out that when he saw that the volumes showed 65% capacity he |
| didn't understand what the issue was. It was explained to him that the issue is the |
| businesses are not allowed to park their commercial vehicles in commuter lots. Gron |
| questioned if there would be an issue with Amazing Graze since it prohibits Class B |
| vehicles. Hulseberg responded that if it is an issue, the Village will work something out |
| with them. |
| It was moved by Schwarz, seconded by Sherretz, that this matter be |
| recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion carried by the |
| following vote: |
| Schwarz asked for an update on the traffic situation at Jackson Middle School in Villa |
| Park. Gembala reported that the Village of Villa Park is working with the school district |
| to put together a traffic plan. |
