Call to Order and Roll Call
Chairperson O'Brien called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.

Approval of Minutes

On a motion by Corbino and seconded by Kuehl the minutes of the February 19, 2007 |

meeting were unanimously approved by the members present. |

Medal of Character Excellence Nomination |
|
Request to nominate Jacob Stelter for the Medal of Character Excellence Award. |
|
A request to award the Medal of Character Excellence to Jacob Stelter was discussed. |
|
Stelter was nominated for his volunteer work at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Lombard's |
|
Center for Health, among other things, by Linda Blight, volunteer coordinator for the |
|
hospital. |
|
It was moved by Bedard, seconded by Hill, to award the Medal of Character |
|
Excellence Award to Jacob Stelter. The motion carried by the following vote: |

Staff briefly reviewed an upcoming seminar to be held in Aurora. Staff will be attending. |

The committee was invited to attend as well. |

Other Business

Invitations were passed out to the committee members for the upcoming Business |
|
Recognition luncheon, to be held April 18 at the Carlisle. Staff also indicated that the |
|
date and the mobile unit were reserved for the annual Senior Fair. This year's Fair will |
|
be held on October 3, 2007. Staff will include this item on the agenda of next month's |
|
meeting to discuss in more detail. |
|
Staff also gave an update on the Circulator Survey. It is scheduled to be mailed as an |
|
insert in the next edition of the Lombard PRIDE, delivery date of April 1. |
