It was moved by Preins, seconded by Hallbeck, that the minutes for the meeting |

John Meyer (re:Olde Towne Sump Pump Disconnect Program)-When we did pilot study, |
|
we spent as much doing the inspection as participating in the actual repairs. What we |
|
talked about was that it didn't appear to be cost effective to do inspection on all the |
|
homes ahead of time. Just make it available to the residents. |

Stan Rickard reviewed the events for this application. Gordon Hallbeck asked that the |
|
item be tabled until the next meeting, to give staff time to investigate if the extent of this |
|
installation was necessary. |

Construction Barricade Reports (light deficiencies) |
|
Gordon Hallbeck asked why Public Works has not enforced the barricade issue. The |
|
idea is not to beat up the contractor, just order the barricades and send him the bill. |
|
Stan Rickard explained that on any given day it is tough for contractors. Barricades get |
|
run over, busted up and batteries go dead. John Meyer pointed out that we have a |
|
policy in place that says what we're going to do and we don't do it. Gordon Hallbeck-If |
|
the contractor has been told and he doesn't fix them, lets get them ordered. |
