W. Ordinance Amending Title 15 - Building Permit Fees (Ordinance on Second |

Reading) |

Ordinance amending Title 15 of the Lombard Municipal Code regarding an increase in |
|
building permit fees. |
|
Building Permit Fee Schedule Modifications: Chief Seagraves reviewed his report to the |
|
committee on permit fee increases of 3-10% depending on type of permit. The Chief |
|
also discussed where the Village fees were in relation to other municipalities. |
|
It was moved by Murphy, seconded by Hogan, that this matter be recommended |
|
to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion carried by the following vote: |

B. FYE 2005 Proposed Village Budget (Review/Recommendation) |
|
This document is attached for the Committee's review, discussion, and recommendation |
|
to the Village Board. The Village Manager and Director of Finance will be in attendance |
|
to review the proposed budget and answer questions of committee members. The |
|
proposed budget includes the following recommendations regarding revenue |
|
enhancements. |
|
Increase in water & sewer rates from $6.91 to $7.14/1000 gallons and an increase in the |
|
service charge from $5.50 to $5.75 per bill. |
|
Community Development Fees (previously reviewed by the Finance Committee on |
|
January 20, 2004 and approved by the Village Board February 5, 2004). |
|
Building Permit Fee increases of 3-10% depending on type of permit. |
|
FYE 2005 Proposed Village Budget: Bill Lichter reviewed the proposed budget with the |
|
committee, including the following: |
|
- Reductions made in the Hotel/Motel Tax account |
|
-Increases in the water & sewer rates from $6.91 to $7.56/1,000 gallons and an |
|
increase in the service charge from $5.50 to $5.75 per bill |
|
-Projects included in the Capital Improvement Plan |
|
-Community Development Fee increases |
|
-Building Permit Fee increases |
|
It was moved by Ware, seconded by Murphy, that this matter be recommend to |
|
the Board of Trustees for Approval. The motion carried by the following vote: |
